Pumpkin-Spiced Smoothie

Spice up any brisk fall morning with this yummy pumpkin smoothie. It’s packed with 8 grams of
fiber, 7 grams of protein, and absolutely no added sugar. Need another reason to dust off your blender? This smoothie is also busting with vitamins and minerals like beta carotene, potassium, and magnesium.

3/4 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk (or skim, soy, or hemp milk)
1/4 cup organic canned pureed pumpkin
1/2 ripe banana
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 Tbsp almond butter (or nut butter of choice)
2 tsp chia seeds (optional)
3 to 5 ice cubes

Place all of the ingredients into a blender and puree until smooth. Pour into a glass and enjoy!
