Plain old toast is, well, plain old toast. But add avocado and you’ve got a tasty topper that’s quick and easy, and loaded with healthy fats. Not to mention it’s incredibly addictive.
Julia, Nourish Snacks’ Marketing Director, and lifestyle blogger at Lemon Stripes, shared her creative “Crunchy Avocado Toast” recipe featuring one of her favorite Nourish Snacks, Just Chillin’ (you can also use Holy Habanero!).

Step 1: Toast your bread. Julia used a sprouted grain spelt bagel
Step 2: Scoop out half an avocado and mash it in a bowl with a sprinkle of sea salt, and red pepper flakes.
Step 3: Drizzle your toasted bread with extra virgin olive oil.
Step 4: Spread mashed avocado over bread. This can get messy, be warned.
Step 6: Transfer to a plate and enjoy!
